Description
For more than 100 years, the Canadian government forced Aboriginal children to attend work camps disguised as schools (and run by churches) to “kill the Indian in the child.” The last one closed in 1996. With everything else taken from them, the Survivors still bear their courage and in the telling of their stories, they have taught us about our own country. More than I can thank them, I want to honour them.
